Direction Of use: To use apply directly from bottle to towel-dried hair in sections. Use protective cream around the hairline and keep off the scalp. Timing for Temporary Hair Color: Process 5-10 minutes. Rinse and shampoo. Timing for Semi-Permanent Hair Color: Cover hair with plastic cap. Process under warm dryer for up to 30 minutes. Rinse and shampoo. Heat is not recommended immediately following a relaxer.

WHAT IS DEMI-PERMANENT COLOR?
Demi-permanent color contains no ammonia and deposits only. It is mixed with a low-volume developer to help open the cuticle and lasts up to 24 shampoos. This type of color is great for blending gray, enhancing natural color, refreshing color, toning highlights, or for corrective work.

WILL DEMI-PERMANENT COLOR COVER GRAY?
A demi-permanent will cover gray only if the hair is fine or porous. It will usually blend gray, making it appear highlighted.

WHAT IS SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR?
A semi-permanent color contains no ammonia and deposits only. It does not require mixing with a developer and lasts anywhere from 4 – 12 shampoos. This type of color is used to blend gray or enhance natural color and it’s safe for immediate use after a relaxer or perm service.

CAN JAZZING BE USED AS A TEMPORARY OR A SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR?
It can be used as both. If you want a temporary result, process Jazzing 5 – 10 minutes without heat. For semi-permanent results, process hair under a warm dryer for up to 30 minutes.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR FOR A BRIGHTER RESULT?
Semi-permanent colors deposit only, so they sometimes look deeper than the natural color. To brighten a shade, choose a color in a warm tone that is 1 – 2 Levels lighter than the natural color.

SHOULD I SHAMPOO THE HAIR BEFORE OR AFTER I APPLY A SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR?
Since a semi-permanent color washes out of hair quicker, it is recommended to shampoo and towel dry the hair before the color application.

CAN I USE JAZZING AND BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR IMMEDIATELY AFTER A RELAXER SERVICE?
Yes. However, it is recommended that you strand test every 5 minutes, and do not use with heat.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO COVER GRAY 100% WITH A SEMI-PERMANENT COLOR?
It is possible only if the client’s hair is very fine and very porous. However, true semi-permanents will blend or highlight the gray hair only for a short amount of time. If longer and more complete coverage is desired, you should use a demi-permanent or permanent color.
