Care Tips

To maintain your Aaliyah unit’s quality and longevity, limit exposure to excessive heat. Always apply a heat protector before using styling tools such as flat irons, curling wands, or blow dryers. Excessive heat can weaken the hair, causing dryness and reducing its lifespan. If you plan to lighten your unit, use a 30-volume developer at most and pair it with a bond repair system like Olaplex, K18, or Innoluxe to preserve the hair’s integrity. Avoid using a 40-volume developer, as it can lead to significant damage. Following these care tips will ensure your unit remains beautiful and lasts longer.

As our units are made as per your individual measurements, all sales are FINAL.

All of our units come already customised: knots bleached, plucked and tinted to suit your scalp and hand plucked to create natural hairline. We don’t over pluck unless you tell us to. This ensures the unit lasts a bit longer.

We would recommend not exposing your unit to too much heat. In the case you do, please use a heat protector.

If you plan to lighten your unit, we would recommend using 30 vol developer at most (It will still get you lighter but it’ll be safer for the hair) and a bond repair system such as Olaplex, K18 or Innoluxe to ensure. We do not recommend using 40 vol developer with lighteners.
